What I liked:
As a solo traveller, this backpacker was in a decent location in Napier and the room was fairly priced.
In addition to the rooms and occupants (during my stay this was not an issue, though other, or more occupants may have been more noisy), I also made use of the toilets, as well as the shared kitchen and dining room to cook a simple breakfast, which had a wide range of provided equipment, a fridge, and utensils.
Overall, the stay was pleasant, and I experienced no significant issues.
I was interested in the reviews of this place and have also noticed that many asian people have reviewed it with 5 stars, but written nothing. Most likely, these are people the owners (also asian) know.
The owners were nice enough, and there were no bed bugs. But that's the only positive thing I have to say about this place.
I don’t recommend this motel to stay.
