The kitchen facilities are terrible! The knives are blunt, and the kitchen towels are dirty and not replaced with clean ones. Instead, the same smelly, dirty towels are rehung every day. Additionally, the lighting is very dim. The manager also displays awkward behaviour and appears to have a discriminatory attitude. Also, took the CC details to secure the booking and asked for cash to pay on site because there is no EFTPOS machine!!!

Stayed here for 1 night, if I had a choice i would not have stayed at all. Unfortunately everything else was fully booked. Rooms and bathrooms were dirty and I'm pretty sure there are bedbugs.
Check in was a bit weird as well, since you can only pay cash or with back transfer, a bit unusual.

The host is such a friendly person - just exceptional 10/10. When I arrived he gave me a quick tour of the hostel; when I left he thanked me for staying with him. I felt 100% welcome. The hostel itself is simple but clean and the location is great.

Small cosy hostel with friendly staff, Arthur and the young lady at reception were helpful and welcoming. Great location in front of the sea and close to shops and restaurant
Very clean amenities, we were impressed. Room could have done with a fan, it was a very hot night in. Small 6 people bedroom.
