Despite no-smoking signs, people were smoking around the property, which made it uncomfortable. The beds were creaky and very uncomfortable, and housekeeping was minimal (only fresh towels on request).
The pool was much smaller and shallower than expected, and the laundry area was poorly maintained. This place had so much going on that I haven’t mentioned here. Overall, the place felt run down and not as clean or well-managed as it should be for the price. We paid 1.6k for 4 nights.
Good location, but I wouldn’t stay here again and wouldn’t recommend anyone else either.
I do not recommend this place if you want to risk getting bitten and dealing with ongoing itching from existing bites overnight.
The beds were comfortable, and the sheets were clean, making for a good night’s sleep. The shower provided plenty of hot water, although the water pressure was quite low.
There are a few areas where some extra attention would make a significant difference. The unit would benefit from a thorough deep clean, particularly the sofa, shower walls, and other high-touch areas. The towels and bath mat were quite worn and felt rough, and there was a noticeable urine smell coming from the toilet throughout our stay.
With some investment in cleaning and general maintenance, this motel has the potential to be a much more comfortable and enjoyable place to stay. We genuinely appreciated the friendly service and hope this feedback is received in the constructive spirit in which it is intended.
