I've given up on Park Island for dog walking until drought conditions mitigate its swamp status. It's boggy and it stinks. The gingko trees on the east side don't do much for the olfactory senses, either. Alright if you like the smell of vomit I suppose.
Please do something about drainage, council. The accompanying picture shows a part of the walkway that's pretty much always flooded, and has to be negotiated in single file. Is there an unannounced plan to turn Park Island into a wetlands?
