Water quality is marginal especially after rain. Nothing to see here.

A frequent favourite for a quick walk with some pavement and some off road track. Great water views with lots of birds (depending on the season).

A playground, picnic area, and plenty of water for your favourite water sport, like Haeata Waka Ama.

Been wanting to do it for a while now. Always drive past the paths and the bridges. Took a leisurely stroll with my mum and enjoyed every minute. The water was absolutely calm and beautiful. The bird life was active and I could hear tui's calling in the last stretch of the walk. Was great to see so many people out and active.
