We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Bluff Hill Bed & Breakfast, in the cozy but cute little ADU (Additional Dwelling Unit - as they call them in the US), in which we stayed
Kitty was amazing! Her home made baking for breakfast was an exquisite bonus, as were the great conversations my wife and I had with Kitty during breakfast. For a Bed and Breakfast stay, highly recommended!

We were blown away by the warm welcome extended by Kitty and Peter and loved staying at 31 Lighthouse Road. The suite is very comfortable and thoughtfully designed, and the separate cottage is very cosy. The location in the valley near the gully of Bluff Hill is wondrous with almost deafening birdsong during the day - you really feel part of nature here. Lovely walks nearby and very peaceful. Kitty's homemade pastries for breakfast are delicious (as is the coffee) the house is lovely and spacious. Highly recommended!!

Simply the best! It really exceeded my expectations. Highly recommend staying three or four nights. We stayed four nights in the self-contained cottage which has a very comfortable bed, hot shower and great amenities such as teas, coffee and even Netflix. The host, Kitty, goes out of her way to make the stay memorable, from the scrumptous breakfast with homemade granola and freshly baked pastries to the recommendations for the Hawkes Bay region. Easy walk through Sturms Gully to get to the top of Bluff Hill and just a five minute drive to Napier CBD. Highlight of the trip (other than Kitty's yummy muesli) was our day trip around the area visiting Te Mata, Havelock North, Birdswood Gallery and a few wineries. If you want next level, stay here.

Wonderful Bed and Breakfast with the most delicious breakfast. We arrived to find our names on our reserved parking spot and Kitti (our host)welcoming us with a smile. She walked us to our cottage and provided us with information on local activities and restaurants. The cottage is so lovely it is designed from a story book. We felt right at home. The shower had excellent pressure, the bed was comfortable and it was nice to have a tv with Netflix. The next morning we woke up to the most delicious breakfast of fresh pastries, cake, breads, jams, fresh orange juice and all other sorts of wonderful treats. Kitti is the most delightful host we have ever met she truly goes beyond to make her guests feel welcome and comfortable. I highly recommend this Bed and Breakfast to anyone looking for a relaxing and peaceful time.

Staying at Bluff Hill was an absolute delight. We stayed for 3 nights in the little cottage, it was small but quirky, delightful and had everything we needed. There were plenty of towels, well stocked kitchenette and a chocolate on the bed when we arrived as well as cookies and some sweets in a jar

Kitty is a legend and helped us with washing and general advice. Each morning she baked pastries which were delicious. Nothing was too much trouble and we felt very well looked after. Including very detailed instructions as to how to find the b&b. There were many things I appreciated including locally sourced ingredients for breakfast and eco friendly toiletries

Would thoroughly recommend a visit. Be aware the walking path into town is very steep. Road is steep and windy for the last couple of minutes.
