Detroit pizza company

Thought we would try local the other night. Unfortunately it didn't hit the mark. Roast chicken pizza was ok, so was the garlic pizza. But the pepperoni was not good at all, had a weird taste. For sides we had chips which were really great, hot and well seasoned. Service and Atmosphere don't apply to this review as we had it delivered (although poor delivery driver had to wait quite awhile).

We were really hoping to love this local spot and support a nearby business, but unfortunately our experience was a little underwhelming. On arrival, the shop had an unpleasant smell and the waiting area felt a bit untidy and awkward. Our pizzas took around 30 minutes, which felt quite long. We ordered the Hawaiian, BBQ Chicken, and Pepperoni, and while they were okay, the flavours were fairly basic and didn’t feel particularly special or homemade as advertised. The pricing was also on the higher side compared to what we’d usually pay elsewhere. We appreciated trying somewhere new and local, but overall it didn’t quite meet our expectations.

Really bad, please don't waste your money. They charged an extra 15 dollars for a gluten free bass on top of the normal price. It also took an ages for it to be ready. It has gone downhill since the Indians have taken it over.

I recently visited Detroit pizza company In Hastings and I can honestly say it’s some of the best pizza I’ve ever had! The quality of the ingredients really stands out—everything is homemade and locally sourced, which makes a huge difference in taste. The crust is perfectly crispy, the sauce has just the right balance of flavors, and the toppings are fresh and full of flavor. You can tell they put a lot of care into every pizza. The atmosphere is welcoming, and the staff is super friendly. If you’re looking for authentic, delicious pizza, this place is a must-try! I’ll definitely be back!

Great pizza! We had both a Detroit style and a classic. Detroit style was full of flavour and really filling. Kids love the food as well, will return for sure, best pizza I've had in Hastings area.
