The chips are good maybe a bit oily tasting. The fish is terrible, battered or crumbed it makes no difference. Stiff as a board the wrong sort of crispy. Maybe get some lessons on how to do a decent batter. Also why does it taste so old. The oceans 12km away do better it's an insult to our depleting oceans.

These guys are the bomb!!

I've been to a few fish and chip shops moving around cause Im not really into really fishy fish .. these guys are perfect.

I've been getting there meal on Uber for $12 with delivery and they have even been adding stuff like lime and cracker type stuff extra.

Really enjoy there fish and chips

Been here before and it was good, this time terrible, I think the oil was perhaps old, very greasy and not a good taste, couldn't eat it and had to throw away, hotdogs really greasy and upset my stomach. Not impressed, won't be going back

Have to agree that if you want the best fish and chips then come here. Far better than the promoted ones in Napier which were dripping with grease. Racecourse Takeaways had good chunky crummed gurnard, crispy chips and great sized scallops and mussels. Give them a go!

We get around all the fish and chip shops and I have to say this was the best fish and chips I have had in a long time. Chips were perfectly crisp and light, and crumbed tarakihi and hoki was great. $25 for the three crumbed fish and a scoop of chips. Other reviews complain of soggy batter but that’s not an issue if you go crumbed, and it’s healthier than gluggy batter anyway.
