The sushi was nice and fresh. The problem was the service. When we, a woman and I wanted to pay the person behind the till was speaking to someone in their own language. Weather there was a problem with the efpos, I will not know, she did not explain or apologise for making us wait. I will not return to this sushi place 😒

I’ve been a long-time customer at Sushi Club, so I’m sharing this because I’d love to see it return to its usual high standard. Unfortunately, during my visit, I noticed the tables were quite sticky and there were tiny bugs flying inside the food cabinet. The rice was also a bit dry, which made it difficult to enjoy the meal. On a positive note, your team is as lovely as ever the service was excellent and the bathrooms were spotless. I really value this spot and hope these points are helpful for future improvements.

Went there for 2 peoples worth of food. Not much but a good variety to choose from of food with no taste. Everything was very bland. The estimate price of $10-20 is wrong, it's way too overpriced. I don't recommend going there if you enjoy your taste buds. $80 for disappointment. The steam buns had an ok inside but the buns themselves are cooked to rough. I would rather eat my shoes, since then at least I know what I'm getting myself into.
Genuinely sad over this meal.

Day trip to Napier with the kids; they were craving sushi after visiting the aquarium..
you know it’s a good sushi shop when the line is out the door and they can barely keep the sushi in the cabinet.

We decided to eat in, chicken katsu bento box and chicken katsu udon. DAMN! The food is bloody awesome.

When we do a day trip up again, no doubt we’ll be back.
