Taradale Roast

Enjoyed the medium meal, everything about was the combo was nice, service was was friendly.
7.7/10

Food was delicious & very large serving. Meat really tender. Definitely be back

This place was horrible. We ordered two medium roast chicken meals as they had run out of pork and didn’t have any crackling available. The meals came to close to $50. While we were waiting, we overheard staff saying they had run out of potatoes as well, which made us think the whole meal was going to be disappointing.

When we got home and started eating, the chicken thigh was extremely dry and chewy, and the drumstick was actually undercooked with pink inside it, which we were not willing to risk eating. The vegetables were watery, the kūmara was dry and strangely tasted like ginger. They did thankfully end up having potatoes, but it seemed like we got the last of them. The potatoes were the only part of the meal I actually enjoyed.

Overall experience: 1/10. I would never go back, and serving raw chicken is definitely not worth almost $50.

We are out of towners and got burnt.
Ordered a large beef for 30 bucks. The beef tasted old and was stewed. Bet it would not be served to a local/regular.
Yorkshire puddings were stone cold and tasteless.
Vegetables edible.
This place needs to take a good look at the beef they are providing.
Would not recommend paying hard earned money for an inferior product.
