Unfortunately, our experience with the food was quite disappointing.

Chicken & Chips – The chicken was very salty, and it seemed to have a lot of flour/breading to make the pieces look bigger. The chicken itself was quite small.

Mixed Combination Fried Rice – This was okay, but nothing particularly special. It lacked flavour and didn’t have much of a distinctive taste.

Sweet & Sour Pork – Unfortunately, the pork tasted like it was no longer fresh. The texture was also very tough and chewy

Chow Mein / Chop Suey – The vegetable and meat slices were cut far too large, and the main flavour we could taste was salt. It really needed more balance in the seasoning.

Overall, we were hoping for a much better experience, but most of the dishes were either too salty, lacked flavour, or had issues with texture and freshness. Hopefully the quality and seasoning can be improved.

The quality dipped there for a while but you have to remember just how hard these folks work, open till 2am is insane.

Had wonton soup and chicken & corn soup.. tonight
We ate the chicken soup so fast I couldn't take photos, amazing.

Wonton soup, is the best I've ever had, filled with wontons, the broth id buy by the litre!.

Ordered Dinner tonight - $72 value pack.
The Fried Rice was alot darker than it should have been and very salty. The Black Bean was so oily, you could see the residue in the container. Everything just tasted extra salty and unpleasant.

I stopped here to get my husband something to eat one night. I was on my way home later than I said I would be, and Mc D's jst wasn't enough to get me out of trouble 😉 someone said they were good. So 8 ordered a Bacon-Cheese ,& Mushroom Burger nd my Hubby reckons it was THE BEST DANG BURGER he's had since we moved back here to NZ. And it was no longer hot by the time I got it to him! It was that good that he forgot Abt growling me for a whole week. Oh nd the people there were funny nd really nice. Highly recommend this place, especially if "Happy Hour" lasts for 6-7hrs, 2towns nd 3 maybe 4 Pubs nd a TAB's, I think!🤣😁🤣

I purchased steam fish from the restaurant. After starting to eat, I discovered a piece of steel scrubber in the food, which is a serious food safety hazard. I took clear photos of the foreign object and kept my payment record.

I contacted the restaurant immediately. The owner stated that a refund would only be provided if I returned the food to the restaurant. Due to food safety concerns, I did not feel comfortable transporting or returning contaminated food. After I explained this and requested a full refund, the restaurant stopped responding to my messages.

It was a really bad experience.
