Still one of the most consistent fish and chips in Hastings. Some times the battered fish aren’t drained long enough and need to go in the air fryer for a couple of minutes. Fresh fish also available daily.

I’d hate to see what a half scoop of chips looks like. $8 for a scoop(?) of garlic chips (no garlic) and also paid for the privilege of grumpy guy serving me. If you don’t like your business do something else and don’t rip people off there honest money.

My Fish and Chip shop of choice. I still live by Fish and Chip Friday, and spend between $50 and $60 a time. Some of the youngster are not that great but the product is of a high standard. I highly recommend them.

Very disappointed as this has been the second time that we have ordered crumbed but we didnt get the order right. Plus the frontman in the store is always grumpy! Such a shame coz the food is great but maybe they can do better with service

Absolutely Delicious. I'm not 1 to buy Fish 'n' chips
To many bad experiences, as I don't like strong flavour fish.. so I never go back if I don't like what they cook....
But today I thought I'd try Max for some Fish
And 💯 % perfect 👌 Mouth Watering Battered Gurnard 🤤 and The chips cooked perfect also.
I'll most definitely be back for more. Thanks Max
