Absolutely yummy food, best Indian food I ever tasted. Great, responsive service. Everything our table ordered was delicious as we shared. We took leftovers home as wanted to savour it the next day for breakfast! If I’m ever back in Napier, I’ll return. For all you locals, support them as you’ll definitely want to keep it.
Only slight downside was the door was left open so chilly, even with the heater on. Towards the end, it was closed so began to warm us up.

It was a wonderful experience. Me and my wife were driving past and found this hidden gem in the Westshore. My goodness it is super authentic, no colour in food and fresh ingredients and incredibly delicious. If you want an authentic healthy Indian meal this is the place m. We ordered onion bhaji and tandoori chicken for starters. The onion bhaji is one of the beta we had, crispy and crunchy and very delicious. Tandoori chicken is made from authentic spices and no colour, when you eat it with your hand, it’s doesn’t stain, chicken is juicy and smoky and wonderful journey of flavour blends. For mains we had veg jalfrezi and chicken korma with tandoori roti (plain and garlic). The chicken and succulent and come in natural turmeric colour in a creamy sauce blend packed with flavours. It is best to eat with both rice and roti. Coming to veg jalfrezi, I seriously translocated to India to my home where we eat a nice bowl of rice and curry on a monsoon evening - it has fresh vegetables and delicious cottage cheese, in a beautiful home made style sauce, best to watch with both roti and rice. It was a nostalgic and belly full experience. Extremely recommend this place for those who want a joyful flavour ride on your palate with authenticity.

I had a kiwi butter chicken which was amazing and best I've had for a long time, the chicken and sauce had a lovely smokey intense flavour which combined well with the creaminess of the sauce. Also had a very nice paratha. Would go here rather than Rasoi, although Rasoi would have a better atmosphere.

Friendly staff and great food. For entrees, the Samosa chaat is just great, and the spicy fries are good. The chicken lollipops were good too. Really enjoyed the Kadai Beef and Kali Mirch Lamb and the Manchurian Vegetable dish. Lovely view of the estuary at sunset.

We like staying on the Westshore because it is quiet and because we can have dinner at this restaurant. There is a covered area with outdoor seating and an indoor area with windows. The food is delicious and fresh. The staff are really lovely and will tailor food to your spice tolerance level. The portions are generous and they have a variety of beers, wine and beverages
