I recently visited this café and was very disappointed by both the atmosphere and the service.
The café was extremely loud, with the ice machine making it difficult to hold a conversation. The premises also felt somewhat shabby, and the floors appeared dirty.
During our visit, a member of staff approached us and rather abruptly asked whether we would be ordering anything else. We felt this was unnecessary and rushed, particularly as our plates had already been cleared almost immediately after we finished eating. I understand that cafés may need to turn over tables when busy, but we were clearly still in the middle of a conversation and there were vacant tables available outside.
Another drawback was the lack of customer toilet facilities.
That said, the food and coffee were absolutely beautiful and were the highlight of the visit.
Unfortunately, despite the excellent food and drinks, the atmosphere and service mean I would be hesitant to return.

Great cafe, excellent salad, cabinet food. Good size servings. Got carrot cake with yogurt/cream & a few berries for $5.50. Will be back again soon.

Be aware that when you are waiting for 2 friends to arrive, those 2 spare seats can be filled by the manger. We explained to him that 2 friends are coming, but he rudely said two other people will sit there. As we had paid for our hot coffees and muffins, we had no choice but to ask for a refund and leave as there was no longer room for 4 people to sit. We were not pakeha, so maybe they are a bit racist.

Great exceptionally amazing fresh food, friendly service. Came out super fast and hot every time. The head chef is always looking like he's out in the cafe wanting to take away plates so new people can be seated or he's lacking in spare plates though which on the up side is fun to watch.

Coffee was the nicest I've had from a Cafe in a long time.
Service was fast and pleasant - drinks came out within 2 minutes; food within 10.
Atmosphere was a pleasant busy-sounding weekday morning that most people would appreciate.
Perfect 10/10 from me.
