ORIGIN Coffee and Bakery

Well, i was super excited yo finally find a place that makes and sells, mushroom, steak and cheese pies! Sadly, I was disappointed when I bit into my pie to find it as a steak, bacon and who knows. If you are going to sell pies, separate them with a divider, make sure the signs are correct.
I dont do ham fat in pies. Thankfully and sad for those that do, I only had one piece.
The slices were a field of their own. Not the normal bases for the ones that did. Mine had the texture of cardboard. Shame, coz the middle was good. The icing for me was too sweet. That's because I've reduced my sugar intake to only 10%.
The coffee is waaaaaay better, as in 99% better and larger than Anker Wok down the road.
If you were to choose between the both, choose this place.

Great breakfast menu.. the creamy mushrooms were amazing

Steak and cheese pie had no cheese, and also lacked any good hearty flavour.
Plenty of steak in it, so can't complain of lack of meat, but if you're going for your fave pie, beware.

Got a blueberry and custard muffin only to be deeply disappointed. It had this disgusting rubbery custard ontop which I had to take off. And I cut it open to see not a single blueberry in it... not only that but it was probably the driest muffin I've ever had. Service was alright, steak and cheese pie was mid but the muffin ruined the experience.

Amazing facility, amazing opening hours, friendly staff, indoor and outdoor seating, great selection of cold and hot dishes plus menu items you can order. Also great selection of cold and hot drinks, free water and toilet facilities and serviettes. Highly recommend you try it out! Kid friendly. Great cappuchinos.
