No one showed up with a menu, no one asked if we wanted anything, the manager just walked up and rudely told us if we're not getting anything to get out its not a library. We were about to ask for a menu too and get some hot drinks but we were insulted and ushered out of the building. The staff member accompanying the manager insulted us outside further and when we questioned why he didn't just ask if we would like something to eat or drink he just scoffed and walked away.

Stopped here for breakfast and it didn’t disappoint. My husband had the poached eggs and they were so beautifully cooked. I had the homemade granola with fresh fruits and yogurt which was delicious.
The coffee is great-strong -not bitter and nice and hot.
The surroundings are uncluttered and with a great display of art.

Excellent food and coffee at FG Smith. The smashed avocado and the power breakfast were both really good. The staff were friendly and helpful, too. I also love how dog-friendly they are — our Scottie, Tuppence, was allowed to sit with us inside and even got her own treat and water. Such a great spot!

Visited FG Smith Eatery in Ahuriri for their power breakfast and it was an excellent choice! The ambiance is warm and inviting — a lovely place to start the morning.

The meal was hearty and satisfying, definitely a heavy breakfast that keeps you full for hours. The coffee was great!

Great coffee. Polite waiting staff. Plenty of seating and space indoors and out. Would recommend the ‘hangover fried rice’. French toast was quite basic. Overall impressed with freshness and quality of food. $120 for 4 dishes and 4 hot beverages.
