We wanted a curry and went to Kohinoor, after reading the reviews. It said that the food was delicious and we agree, the food was tasteful and delicious. I tried the lamb shank and the meat was very soft and tasty. The source was nice and spicy. We also enjoyed the cheese naan. My wife's dish was nice, the curry was sweeter and not as good as the lamb shank. They have a big menu variety and we will be back to try something else. I recommend you to try this place

I loved the menu and the dishes were varied with exciting flavors and options.
The portions were good but more import the flavors were perfect, matching the melt in your mouth tender Goat on bone curry AAA+
Cheese and garlic nann yummy.
Great work guys live a great chef that cares about his menu and taste.
And we wet had a breakfest meal and yes perfect. Napiers hidden food gem. AAA

We had a great experience at Kohinoor Indian Restaurant. We tried a mix of dishes across two visits — achari paneer, dal, jeera rice, naan, mango lassi, waffle, chole bhature, fried rice, methi malai paneer, and tawa roti — and everything was absolutely delicious.

The flavours were authentic, well-balanced, and consistently good across all dishes.

We actually loved the food so much that we went back again before heading back to Wellington!

They also have plenty of vegetarian options, which is a big plus.

Overall, a fantastic spot for Indian food in Napier — we’ll definitely be back!

Such a great find... The food was delicious and Jatin was an absolute good, friendly, quick and very helpful. If you are after good Indian food with great service, Kohinoor Continental is the place to go!

What a find. We are staying at Pebble beach hotel and read the menu. I walked down to get food due to a allergy I needed to chat to the staff to order a tomato free meal. The chef made me a special lamb Saag hot and I got a tasty perfectly hot spiced saag with so much tender lamb. My wife had the goat curry and she was impressed and raved to me about it. Meals served with rice is a bonus. We got naan and that was damn good. The cauli bites a a night e addition to any meal. Thanks for looking after me.
