Crab Farm Winery

We visited for lunch with our family over the weekend and had a wonderful experience. We brought our baby in a stroller and the lovely lady who greeted us seated us at a quiet and cozy table by the fireplace, which was perfect.

My mum absolutely loved the atmosphere, and every dish we ordered was delicious. The wine was great too!
We’ll definitely be back to buy some Crab Farm wine before my family leave Hawke’s Bay. Highly recommend!

I cannot recommend Crab Farm Winery highly enough for hosting a wedding ceremony and reception. From start to finish, everything ran seamlessly, and nothing was ever too much trouble for the team.

The atmosphere, setting, and food were all absolutely incredible and created the perfect backdrop for such a special occasion.

A heartfelt thank you to Elisa and the entire team for being such an important part of our daughter’s unforgettable wedding day. It truly was perfect, and we will be recommending your venue with the highest regard.

What an absolute gem👏😀! We booked for lunch on 27 March and prior to that enjoyed sampling 4 of their excellent wines, choice our own. The wine tasted was superb, the welcome and service throughout our visit was most pleasant and professional, an absolute delight.

As for the food, it was equally excellent. A well designed menu with much choice, very tasty, very well presented and hugely enjoyable. If only, back in our UK home, we had such a fantastic place to visit close by. We thought the value of the wine tasting, food and beverage was great value. I enjoyed a wonderful glass of their own pinotage with my lunch, well worth sampling imho. The wine tasted and drunk was also great value.

We left with two bottles of wine after a wonderful wine tasting and lunch. I cannot recommend the Crab Farm Winery, wine, food and team highly enough. Thank you all very much, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

Additionally do take time out to walk the gardens and visit on site “The Art Shed.”

After searching couple of places for our lunch, we decided to visit crab farm winery at Napier. Inside car parks available and the entrance gives a rustic aesthetic vibe and already in love with that. Its always better to have make a reservation beforehand as the place is quite popular and its a wedding destination. After the reservation is made, we reached the place.
The place is able to accommodate large number of groups. Indoor and outdoor dining spaces are available. The entire place gives a cozy, rustic and a viking vibe. Place is nicely decorated and equipped with comfortable seatings. The prettiest and cleanest washrooms I have ever seen in restaurant.
The staff is very friendly and professional. Eventhough the place was so busy, everything served quickly.
We ordered a seafood platter; great portions and absolutely delicious. Loved the dippings and the plating. Calamari and prawn twisters aremy favorites. Also we ordered the penne pasta, which was creamy and with a bug portion. For the straters guacamole with corn chips, top notch!
We had a great time outside in the vineyard and it was huge. The outdoor event area is amazing and raw natured.
Loved the place and really wish to visit again!

No doubt about it — 10/10. Had a lovely visit today. Outstanding service, amazing food, and a really cosy dining space. Super pet-friendly too — not just great service for people, but our fur baby was treated to some cheese as well! Such a lovely team, everyone was incredibly friendly. Definitely won’t be our last visit. Until next time!
