Black Pearl Napier branch is definitely worth a visit you're after tasty food and drinks without spending a fortune! The serving sizes are generous, the prices are affordable, and everything we ordered was fresh and satisfying. The taro milk tea and the rockmelon milk tea with coconut gel were both refreshing and packed with flavour, kids approved too!

The fried squid tentacles and karaage are absolute must-tries, they're crispy, well-seasoned, and perfect for sharing (or keeping all to yourself!). A special shout-out to Nay for the warm, friendly service that made the experience even better.

We recently tried the latest Signature Honey Toast and Classic Honey Toast at Black Pearl, and both were absolutely amazing! The bread was perfectly toasted — crispy on the outside, soft inside, and paired so well with the ice cream and honey drizzle. Every bite was rich, comforting, and definitely worth coming back for. If you love desserts, these are a must-try!

Aside from the desserts, their ramen is honestly one of the best we’ve had. The broth is flavorful, the serving size is generous, and everything tastes freshly made. It’s the kind of food that keeps you craving for more after every visit.

What makes the experience even better is the excellent customer service. The staff are always welcoming, attentive, and quick with orders. Special mention to the manager, Nay, who is also a dear friend of ours. He always makes sure customers are looked after properly, and his service is consistently fast, friendly, and professional.

Black Pearl is definitely one of our favorite spots for both desserts and comfort food. Highly recommended for anyone wanting great food, quick service, and a warm atmosphere!

Finally an authentic Asian food restaurant. Best Ramen & Tom yum in Napier & maybe Hawke’s Bay. Can’t wait to eat in restaurant. Got takeaway & was well packaged for the journey home. No mess. A little pricey but you pay for quality. Good work. Don’t change. Only get better. Well done team. Keep up the good work

I’ve been here twice and I’ll definitely keep coming back. The service is consistently great, and the food is just as good. My only tiny comment is that the food is served warm — which is totally fine for most people — but I personally prefer my food really hot, like straight from the pan. Haha.

The atmosphere is very welcoming, and the place is always clean and well-kept.
