What a superlative experience!

I'm still sitting at our table, in the comfortable afterglow of a dinner to remember with some of the most fantastic service I have ever had.

The decor is tasteful and warm. Seating is comfortable and adequately spaced apart with excellent lighting.

On entering we were warmly greated by a staff member and led us straight to our table. This was just the beginning of the warm and professional service we received from all the staff who interacted with us this evening. With service like that you could've served me boiled hay, and I would be happy to pay.

The food was exceptional!

The kids ordered the kids pizza and mocktails and said it was the best pozza they ever had. Our kids are super fussy eaters and we have eaten out in many places these school holidays and this establishment has become their new favourite place to eat.

The adults in our party shared the Angus rump, dumplings and flatbread while the children stole all our fries.

We will definately be back and telling everone about it.

The $30 steak night is well worth a visit on Wednesday night - also had the pizza and a side of delicious targine-cooked winter vegetables.
Choose between sitting high or low, in the front, middle or back of the restaurant and enjoy the warm hospitality of your hosts..
Don’t miss dessert - the crème brûlée was the best I have ever had 10/10

Arrived around 6pm fairly quiet. By 7:30 a bust atmosphere. Not noisey and pleasant ambience. Staff very friendly. Not an extensive menu but some nice sharing dishes. The sliders were sensational. Tender beef patty, lovely soft roll, just a hint of heat ... they just melted in your mouth. Recommend having these by yourself (2 sliders per serve). The flat bread was just that ... flat much like a very thin pizza base. I expected more focacia style. The baked goat cheese is definitely a winner but the toasted bread with it was well over done and too crusty to really enjoy the subtlety of the cheese. Most disappointing was the strawberry long Island tea cocktail. Drinks menu detailed 5 spirits no mention of the soda water that sadly diluted it to a fairly bland drink. When asked why soda is not on the ingredients list, I was informed that the cocktail has four 15ml shots making a total of 60ml and they have to add soda to licensing purposes. Four spirits? But the ingredient list has five. Which one was missing? So, overall, a nice meal time with red wine, but the cocktail dessert was a bit of a low point.

Just inside there is a large painting of Anthony Bourdain and whilst he may never have visited this restaurant, his culinary philosophy and genius is respected and exemplified by both the fantastic local food and the passion of the serving team (Martin was an absolute star!). The food, beer (from a few blocks away) and ambience individually and collectively exceeded our expectations. Photos below of all our order...and every one was a delight! Craft & Social is a great spot—excellent food that’s well presented and full of flavour. Loved the mix of Asian fusion dishes alongside solid classics, so there’s something for everyone. Relaxed vibe and a quality feed all round. Definitely worth a visit.
