No.5 Cafe & Larder

Visited here two weekends in a row for brunch. Busy place. Staff are lovely. Food delicious. Chocolate fudge cake was huge, had to get a takeaway box as it was too large to eat after the breakfast meal. Another case of eyes being bigger than belly…as my mother would say!

We had our wedding reception here on Saturday, 20th June 2026 and all I can say is - it was the best decision we made. Our journey started with the amazing Rebecca, back and forth communication / answering all my questions - then booking a meeting with the wonderful William. After seeing the venue and meeting some of the team, we were sold. Booked immediately and planned to have both our ceremony and reception here, unfortunately we only had the reception due to personal last minute changes not venue related - No5 were understanding and tried to help accommodate the changes to make it easier for us, what a team!

Max was the star of the show and really made us feel special and well looked after, him and his team did amazing over the night and with last minute changes they were all there, every step of the way. Listening to every detail, creating a beautiful space for our wedding and being there for us, our family and all our guests right up to the end of the night!

We were really blown away by the hospitality and kindness the No5 team showed us, they made our night even more special. We didn't have to worry about a thing, Max was attentive and friendly, hard working and ensured we knew everything was running smoothly.

We will be recommending No5 to anyone we know getting married or anyone looking for a venue!

Food was delicious. Acoustics quite noisy but that probably also reflects the popularity. Only one server so service was slow but would return.

Outside doesn't look like there's something special inside. But as soon as you step unto the main door, you are welcomed with this beautiful, cozy atmosphere. Great customer service. The staff are friendly. There is a small gift shop inside too. Great food!

The food was delicious, fabulous setting, comfortable seating. Service was friendly but very disappointing ... they forgot us for 25 minutes, they forgot one of our drinks, and they served yoghurt instead of the ordered cream with our desserts. The food was on the pricey side. Edit .... I was crook all afternoon so presumably either the chicken or the custard square upset my tummy .... would NOT recommend....
