Origami Napier

Everytime we visit Napier we have to call in to Origami for a bite to eat. My kids are addicted to their paprika cheese fries. I personally love the tuna tataki with ponzu, the grilled eggplant and edamame beans with togarashi. Lovely service which is relaxed and friendly.

wow. food was delicious. Besides the regular slice of salmon on top of the salmon roll, there was a generous slab of salmon inside too ! 😋

rest of the food was yummy too. the chicken cutlet ( from the curry rice) had a wonderful crust and was perfectly moist inside.

Great dining experience here in Napier. Love the ambience in this restaurant. The staff here are very polite and courteous, especially Aaron! He immediately recognised us when we walked in today (as we were here for lunch yesterday).
We loved the Salmon rolls, Teriyaki Chicken with Dry Ramen and Tempura Prawns. Food tastes good and well-presented too.
A definitely must try eatery if one is visiting Napier!

Absolutely stunning customer services and went for the extra miles. The rain was pouring outside Bond asked every tables if it was ok for us to bring our four legged friend. We were ready for a No but really appreciated his effort to help us. Thank you! Happy New Year!

A restaurant that you must try in Napier.
Walk ins are allowed, but on a weekend, it is advisable to book.

Thank you to the staff that allowed us to dine in when it was busy for them.

Food to price ratio is great! Good to see a restaurant that still gives out a good portion when everyone else has shrunk theirs.

Their Tom Yum Ramen is good and a must try. You will definitely get full. Their Sushi and Sashimi is good. I said that ever since I ate Sushi in Japan, all other sushi outside of Japan does not even comes close, I would say theirs are not bad, so give it a try.

They have a display of their desert cabinet, and they look delicious. We were so full, so we opted not to try. 😅
