St Pierre's Sushi & Bento Bowl Napier

Myself and my fiancée went in today for 2 items, it was only as we were about to leave she discovered we had been overcharged by a considerable amount, upon mentioning this to the cashier she rummaged around and got my fiancée what we thought was our correct change, in our hurry to leave after that inconvenience we neglected to check the change that was given to us

When we got home we unpacked our food and the shopping we got, counted our change and realised not only had we been overcharged but we’d been refunded incorrectly too

Considering these tills look rather expensive, (meaning they look like they have the ability to calculate math) we don’t believe that it would be possible to overcharge customers or give them the incorrect change for a refund

The food in all honesty is really good but after what looked like an attempt to be a bit dishonest from the companies representatives we’ve decided not to return to these establishments

Fried chicken Udon costs $15.90. Reasonable price, good portion, chewy Udon, fresh fried chicken.

Dropped in for lunch on a Friday arvo whilst on holidays from Aus. Had the Teriyaki and Karaage chicken bowls, both delucious

Ordered bento bowl: karaage chicken don (came with steamed rice, salads, house mayo and choice of teriyaki or to katsu sauce, curry sauce extra); side of vegetable tempura (vegetables are mixed together and fried like a roll and cut into pieces); large miso soup

Ordered at Pierre’s sushi of Japan: cheritaki chicken sushi, katsu chicken dragon roll.

They make made to order rolls which made my wife happy. Everything we ordered was made quickly and delicious. Staff was helpful and courteous.
