Mexicali Fresh Napier

I ordered online but for almost $10 the tacos were tiny, I thought you'd atleast get two small ones for that price not one small one. No sour cream or very little. The tacos were flavourless apart from the veges I couldn't taste much. Then the burritos were decent sized but again had not many good flavors and no or very little sour cream was cold and the bread wrap was like extra soggy. Just no yum smell or taste came from it unfortunately. And then I got those stick things with chocolate source and thought I'd get more then two tiny pieces for 7dollars. I'm not sure maybe Mexican isn't my flavour or it just wasnt that good. Considering how people go on about Mexican food I was slight disappointed. Even the shell for the tacos was kind of yuck. The supermarket ones are far better..

Had a great experience at MexiCali Fresh Napier. The food was fresh and full of flavour, and the staff were friendly, efficient, and welcoming throughout the visit. Service was quick without feeling rushed, and the overall atmosphere made it an easy place to enjoy a meal. Would definitely come back.

The service here is impeccable, we felt so welcomed and were treated with such kindness. The lady serving us was very helpful in finding us something we will like based on our preference. Everything is priced amazingly and the portion sizes are big yet not unmanageable. The atmosphere was amazing with all the lights and signs, it felt like we’re stepping into Mexico. I definitely recommend Mexicali for a date night, family dinner or even for a light meal.

Amazing food with so many different options and flavours. Great service, lovely staff and such a beautiful colourful atmosphere. 100% would come and again and 100% recommend visiting if in Napier. 10/10 experience on so many factors!! I reccomend the Taco salad it is delicious, flavourful and a great portion size.

Staff was very courteous and checked on us to see if we like the food. Very quick service. We had Classic nachos with pulled pork plus the blue lemonade. Plenty of seating inside, quiet and affordable.
