Virasat Wine Bar & Eatery

Walked in by chance. Great greeting from Joe and from there things just got better. We just popped in for a drink but ended up tasting some excellent wine, having a great chat and then eating one of the best Indian/Malay meals we have ever had. It is a place you could go to for as a couple, large group or even a big function. Cool vibe with sofas, high tables or more formal seating. If you want to try a new wine, whiskey or experience some new food just ask, we were so well looked after and I never even looked at a menu (i forgot my glasses, they do have spares if you need). If you are going to Napier there isno reason why you should not pop in. You will leave Virasat with a smile and quite possibly a new friend or 2.

Outrageously good. And really good value for money. Quality food at a price that won't snap the credit card. Great drinks choice as well- and reasonably priced. Superb atmosphere and even better service from Joe. What a host. As you tell, we loved it. We'll be back. Many thanks

Quite the unexpected pleasure. I knew the wine bar from a few years ago by blown away by the warm hospitality from Joe. I wasn't planning on Indian food for my dinner but ended up having the best Indian food of my life! Can't recommend this place enough.

We ate here on holiday, the food was delicious but portions were a little on the small side. I would recommend a visit when you're in Napier.

Came thru late on art deco weekend! The drinks were delicious and on point and hit the mark 💯!
