MK Cafe Ahuriri

Beautiful kai this morning. Lovely staff , nice outdoor area with heaters. My partner and I throughly enjoyed our breakfast. I had the pāua and bacon Benedict and she had the big breakfast… we both couldn’t finish it, it’s definitely worth the money and I highly recommend.

I’m not usually one to leave reviews unless a place really stands out — and MK is definitely one of those places. Every time I come back home to Aotearoa, I make it a mission to stop in for some kai.

From the manaakitanga shown by the staff, to the tino reka kai, and the warm, welcoming wairua of the place — everything about MK just hits right. You can feel the aroha as soon as you walk in, and that’s something special.

This place ticks all the boxes for me. If you’re looking for a mean feed and good vibes, I’d highly recommend checking them out.

Friendly faat service but most importantly great food. Their sausage roll, fluffy yet crisp fry bread and delicious creamy paua are worth a mention.

Delicious kai and excellent customer service, the Paua and kumara pie was so good we got two more for later and the chef wrote heat-up instructions for us. What a legend! Great coffee too with a chocolate fish

We're from Levin and have been coming to MK cafe over the past six weeks while house sitting for a friend. We've tried 14 different items from the menu and every single one has been amazing. You can really taste the care that goes into every dish - everything's fresh, creative, and full of flavour. To name a few the paua bene on fry bread, lambs fry and paua pasta have all been absolute standout. The coffee is always great too and the team are super friendly and welcoming. MK cafe has become a must visit for us every time we're in Napier
