These sandwiches are well worth it! Being based in Wellington, there’s no shortage of great sandwich places, but if this store were there, it would definitely be a tough one to beat. Love the $2 hot drink special too. My favourite is the Drunken Bird.

Loved their Paneer toastie and coffee tastes amazing too.

Flavours were well balanced and good to see something on the menu with protein for vegetarians 👍

Incredibly accommodating experience! Thank you to The Sandwich Place for providing some yummy eats and outstanding hospitality! They went above and beyond to ensure we had the absolute best time, and we couldn’t be happier. We ordered the Vodka Chicken & BBQ Pulled Beef. Both were out of this world good! Their ingredients are fresh and the sandwiches are pressed perfectly, allowing for the flavors to come alive! Do yourself the favor and don’t leave Napier without trying their entire menu! I can tell from what we ordered you won’t be disappointed!

Visited the sandwich shop 3 days in a row during our Art Deco weekend, it was so so so tasty! It was so nice to have a lovely fresh sandwich, the ingredients they use are great quality and it’s perfect to take down for the Gatsby picnic or to have whilst watching the vintage car parade. Highly recommend!!!

“This is yummo! You have the best toasted sandwiches!” from our 5-year-old son, which pretty much says it all.

Delicious toasted sandwiches made fresh right in front of you. I had the Not a Philly cheesesteak and it was packed with great flavour and just the right touch of spice, we loved it.

Highly recommend stopping in if you’re in the Napier CBD.

Thank you to the amazing friendly staff which were so accommodating to our large family.
