Star of India delivers every time. The curries were full of flavour and beautifully fragrant, rich without being heavy. The naan was spot on too, crispy on the outside and nicely chewy inside. Desserts were delightful and the perfect way to finish the meal. A great place for comforting, well made Indian food.

Been on the road 5 months. Fastest yet and nice.... 🙏
Yet check spice level... If chefs where seeing if a white bald dude could sweat beyond any spice level... they succeeded. Paid bill and said that was asked as medium... I got indian hot... based on my old school, back yard indian curries.... if your chefs wanted a laugh they should have ate dinner within arms reached then rag doll across floor.... Good meal. Just needed a pre warning. Ate lot... Hopefully the sweat entertainment was worth the value. 🤣💪😎

Excellent service. The waiter could not have been more helpful. Tasty food without being too spicy. Best cheese and garlic naan bread I have ever eaten. The sizzling mixed platter was fantastic. Maybe the butter chicken was a little bit too sweet, but everything else was perfect. The music was authentic and quiet, adding to the ambiance. Go to the Star of India, you won't be disappointed!
Everything was delicious, full of flavour, and made the trip even more worthwhile. Definitely a place we would recommend to anyone looking for great Indian food in Hastings. ❤️
