The burgers are genuinely excellent — everything else, not so much.
Community Burgers really shines when it comes to their burgers. The bun is the real highlight: lightly toasted on the outside, soft and fluffy inside, and clearly well made. It holds everything together perfectly and makes the whole burger feel balanced and satisfying. The patty is juicy, well-seasoned, and clearly the focus here.
That said, I’ll be honest — the non-burger items were quite underwhelming and not something I’d order again. They’re not terrible, but they don’t match the quality of the burgers at all.
If you’re coming here specifically for a good burger, it’s absolutely worth it. Just stick to the burgers — that’s where this place truly delivers.

Be sure to get in early, or make a reservation for dinner, this place is so popular for good reason. Was excited to try it for the first time and it didn’t disappoint. Super friendly staff, great service, fantastic food and fun options. Tried the pickle spears, The Lady burger, The Orchardist burger, Roosters Ginger-Beer, spicy Oscar cocktail, and Lemon Cheesecake, but honestly I don’t think you could go wrong with anything you choose from their menu. Great prices and atmosphere too. Will be back

We ate here on a whim and we’re so glad we did. Amazing food, great service and a wonderful vibe. Ended up getting take-outs a couple of days later and check out the message on our bag 🥰. Warm fuzzies all round. Thanks Community Burgers!

One of the best burger experiences I had in Napier.
The bun was lightly toasted on the outside and soft inside, holding all the juices perfectly. The beef patty was thick, well-cooked, and full of flavor without being greasy. What really stood out was the sauce — well balanced, not overpowering, and it tied everything together nicely.
The fries weren’t just an afterthought either. Crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, and seasoned just right, they paired perfectly with the burger. Overall, it completely exceeded my expectations, especially for a tourist town.
If you’re in Napier, this is definitely a burger worth trying. I’d happily come back again. 🍔

Ordered 2 burgers, fries and the chicken bites. All of the above were extremely delicious.
A couple cheeky IPAs and Sav’s to wash it down served by the friendly staff! Will definitely be back!
