Was a great lunch, sat outside, enjoying the sun and tasty food. Was served by Deb - she is an absolute legend when it comes to hospitality. Great place to go!!!

Enjoyed a fabulous meal for hubbys birthday this weekend. Between 4 of us we ordered 2 lamb racks, the tortellini and the pork belly - all meals were presented beautifully and absolutely delicious! We had 2 crème Brûlée, a chocolate brownie and an Affogato espresso and ice cream to follow and again, all very happy with our choices! The service was first class and the restaurant manager Sara was so welcoming and lovely. Definitely highly recommend Church Road winery for a delicious lunch!

I visited Church Road Winery in Napier yesterday and had a wonderful experience. I was warmly welcomed even though I arrived a bit earlier than my booking time. The manager who greeted me was very friendly and professional.

Erin then took care of me and she was amazing: very knowledgeable, passionate, and we had a great conversation about both New Zealand and French wines. A big thank you to her for such an enjoyable and interesting visit!

Church Road Winery is a wonderful place to experience Hawke’s Bay wine and hospitality. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained, creating a relaxed and elegant atmosphere that’s perfect for a tasting or a leisurely visit.

The wines are exceptional, especially the reds, and the staff are knowledgeable, friendly, and happy to share insights about the winery’s history and winemaking process. Tastings are well organised and never feel rushed, which really adds to the experience.

My husband and I really like this winery — we often come here to buy wine. This was our first time dining here, and we absolutely loved the atmosphere. It felt so peaceful and relaxing. We’ll definitely come back again!
