Smoked brisket open sandwich was absolutely fantastic, and the portion size was perfect for a hungry bloke

July 8th arrived at the restaurant just before 6pm, ordered at 6pm didn’t get my food till 7:57pm almost 2hours. Unacceptable. What’s worse is my grandmother still hadn’t received her dinner and was still waiting. There is no way I am going to touch nor eat my food while my grandma is still waiting for hers. That is appalling. I brought her out for diner and she waited over 2 hours for her food and I waited almost 2 hours for mine. I am very disappointed cause I’ve been here before and loved it. But today was not that day. Very unhappy. The wait was beyond too long. The food was nice however was it worth the wait. NO

Just got home after an amazing lunch at the Duke today.
Staff where excellent they had a table of eight set aside for us, service was quick and professional. Food was absolutely awesome, the Kitchen certainly know what they are doing.
As it was my Sisters birthday, we had brought a cake and when the time came our waitress brought it out set ready to go, she even helped by taking some photos for us so we could all be in the frame. Don't get what the previous negative review was about? The Duke is as great as it has ever been, awesome staff, awesome food, awesome atmosphere and well worth the price. Cheers to the team for a great meal.

Cool looking spot, went here for lunch. I had the seafood chowder, very tasty and filling! Partner had lasagne and enjoyed it.

Cozy atmosphere, great for couples & families, was too packed when we went, no booking required
Service was great from the waitress that had only been there for 2 weeks

Cob loaf ratio to dipping sauces was perfect
Can’t go wrong with wedges
~ Scotch fillet x2 (Good Value! You get fries and roast veges) sauces extra but worth it
~ Fish n Chip meal (swapped fries for Mash)
~ Lasagna
~ Cocktails & Beer
