Front units were very close to the railway line but there were no trains!
Probably wouldn't stay again unless my usual place was unavailable, this isn't a reflection on the motel, just where it was related to where I need to be.
The room was very clean, comfortable, spacious and had lovely details. The bed was soft and had luxurious sheets and the room was equipped with aircon/heater.
The staff at reception were lovely, easy to talk to and understand.
What stood out for me was the special accommodations to my continental breakfast, due to a "late arrival" of the food tray at my room (which wasn't an inconvenience at all) - I was generously given a homemade muffin from Nana, honey from a friend and a delicious hazelnut sachet. Although these items weren't the 'norm' for a guest choice in brekky, I really appreciated the effort in what was perceived as a late breakfast delivery, and it honestly made my trip. All I can say is this is an apparent reflection on the staff who clearly care about their customers and have that wonderful kiwi attitude of sharing the beauty aotearoa has to offer.
