Friendly staff but you are just left to enjoy the resort. Beautiful landscaped grounds 10 minute bike ride in to havelock north.
We will definitely be back and highly recommend.
I honestly cannot say enough good things about Te Mata Views! We just finished hosting a multi-generation family reunion here with over 60 people, and it was the experience of a lifetime.
From the moment we arrived, the team went above and beyond to make us feel at home. The layout was absolutely perfect for a group of our size, having the various lodges, cottages, and the glamping setup meant everyone had their own space, but we could all gather easily on the main lawns for big family events.
The facilities are top-notch, the views of the peak are breathtaking, and the location in Havelock North is unbeatable for day trips to the beach or wineries. Whether we were star-gazing on the lawn or hosting our talent show on the outside stage, the atmosphere was just magical.
If you are looking for a venue that can handle a large, high-energy group while still feeling peaceful and boutique, look no further. Thank you to the staff for making our 2026 reunion so special. We will be talking about this trip for years!
